Worcestershire Wildlife Trust

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust has 9 local groups of volunteers across the county who organise walks, talks, fundraising events, volunteer work parties and survey work.  Above all, they bring together people with an interest in celebrating and enjoying our wildlife.

Droitwich local group has regular meetings from October to March with occasional summer meetings and outings.

You’re welcome to join us at these events and get involved at any level you like – whether enjoying an evening talk or helping to organise future events.

We meet on the second Monday of the month between October and April at Droitwich Methodist Hall, Worcester Road, WR9 8AN.  Come and enjoy a wildlife-themed talk and meet like-minded people.

We also run a garden butterfly and bird survey in and around Droitwich.  If you’d like to get involved visit our page on the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust website  (www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk)

Some of our members also help out with conservation work at Droitwich Community Woods.  There’s a variety of wildlife to enjoy here and a mixture of habitats including woodland, grassland, scrub, river and canal.  You don’t need previous experience but if you think you could be slick with a slasher or lively with loppers, get in touch.
