Come along and join in! This is a time to get together for fellowship and to enjoy time together. For this Beetle Drive we are asking people to bring along some food to share. There are no tickets for the event, but please could I encourage you to add your name to the list in the foyer so that I know how many people to expect and what food items people might like to bring. This is a free event but any donations are welcome on the night and will be put towards church funds. Many thanks droitwichcfw@btinternet.com

CIRCUIT METHODIST WOMEN IN BRITAIN DAY FEATURING GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL

Saturday 7 July

Here at Droitwich from 10.30 am until 3.30 pm. when we will host this event to which everyone in the circuit and our neighbouring circuits are invited. We have all heard of the wonderful work done by this hospital and maybe we even have first-hand experience of it.

The day will feature a presentation which includes up-to-date pioneering work carried out there as well as something of its history. Our District MWiB President, Mrs. Christine Temple, has chosen this hospital as her charity because she trained there a while ago, but she wants us to raise money for adding more accommodation for the parents of sick children. They will have somewhere private to go and beds, so they can get some sleep but be near at hand in an emergency.  Christine will tell us more.

I hope as many of YOU as possible will come along.  There will be a cake stall, a Bring and Buy stall and a Strawberry Tea at 3 pm just to tempt you further!  Please bring your own lunch, drinks will be provided.
