A fantastic morning at Rise & Shine learning all about God's Love for us.
We crafted, planted seeds and made hearts to remind us that we are all special to God.
We enjoyed singing, dancing and breakfast!
A note to our Great Big God
Dear God,
You are amazing! You have loved me and cared for me since the day I was born. And it’s not just me you love. It’s all of us! Our families, friends, neighbours, teachers, everyone. Some people call this a real blessing. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m sure they are right. Thank you God.
I’ve heard that you welcome everyone into your church family. That’s amazing too. Thank you for our church here in Droitwich Spa, and for all the congregations around our Circuit; our wider family. Wow! One thing I know is that coming to this church helps me feel part of your family. That feels good. I feel loved. I like it. It helps me understand more about you. Thank you God.
I love learning about Jesus. I know I must try to follow his example. That’s not always easy because he never made mistakes, and I can’t help making them. But I have learned that you have sent someone to help us to become more like Jesus; that’s The Holy Spirit. I’ve also learned that even when I do make mistakes you are always ready to say, “It’s OK, don’t worry, keep trying, I will help you”.
Thank you God. Thank you.
Amen
Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.’(Matt.19:14)
