Circuit Prayer

Here is the Circuit Prayer for April from Evesham:-

Dear Father God 

We thank you for all the blessings we enjoy every day and for your care of our congregation and community at Evesham. We give thanks for old and new friends in our fellowship and for those who have served you faithfully for many years, and we commend to your care those who have died this winter.

We thank you for all our ministers who have worked so hard to support and strengthen us over recent years and we ask your blessing on them. We also give thanks for our lay people who have given so much as stewards, treasurers, property maintainers, worship leaders, pastoral workers and community supporters.

We ask for your help in our work with children, refugees and asylum seekers, and with people in the community who use our cafe and warm space, and as an eco church. As we look to the future and consider becoming a sanctuary church and how we can use our physical resources in your service, help us to understand the way you want us to go and how we can become true followers of Christ in our time and place.

We ask this in the name of your Son, Amen
