CIRCUIT PRAYER

Here is the Circuit Prayer for July from St Andrew’s, Worcester

.

Faithful God, we give thanks for  St Andrew’s, and for the many opportunities they have to reach out to those they meet in Worcester.

In particular, we pray for them as they seek to connect with those in the city centre through the creative arts and the hospitality they offer.  We pray for their new employee, Joel, as he prepares to start in August.  May he quickly feel part of the team and make connections with local creatives and residents.

We pray for the congregation as they say goodbye to Rev Katherine and welcome Rev Liz as their new presbyter.  At this time of change, draw them in to a deeper understanding and love of you and each other.  As they trust in you for their future, would you help them keep their eyes on Jesus, be courageous in their service, and open to your Spirit’s challenge.

Father God we thank you for our fellowship at Somers Park Avenue. May your love continue to bind us together and may all our efforts reflect your grace and compassion. We lift up to you our Ministers in the circuit, asking that you bless them with wisdom, discernment and strength as they guide us and the other Malvern churches at this time. Help us to reach out to our community with the message of salvation and help us to be a beacon of light and a source of hope and comfort in our community. Father guide our outreach efforts and let them be a reflection of your love and compassion. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
